Parish council website designStewkley, Bedfordshire
Famous for having one of the longest high streets in England, the village of Stewkley in Buckinghamshire was looking to replace their current website (built using a "free" online platform) with something more professional and easier to update.
The objective was to create a clean and easy to use website to act as a point of reference for all essential council-related matters and promote engagement within the community.
The site features a news blog for current issues, where council meeting agendas and minutes are posted. There is also a dedicated 'neighbourhood plan' section where key information and regular updates are posted.
Project scope
- Mobile responsive website design
- WordPress blog
- Ongoing WordPress support & maintenance
- Online "issues" reporting
- Dedicated Neighbourhood Plan section
Client testimonial
“Stewkley Parish Council approached EHA Web Design after searching locally for help to re-design its website. We were looking for someone local who would understand what we wanted to achieve and be able to design a simple to manage, yet professional looking site.
On first speaking to Hugues Audouard it became clear that he understood our requirements exactly and we felt confident that he would be able to develop the type of website we were looking for.
We only needed one meeting with Hugues to explain our requirements in detail – he quickly interprets ideas into workable solutions. We just needed one further session to look at the design, choose colour schemes and agree formats.
Hugues worked very quickly, delivering well before the agreed timelines. We are really pleased with our new website. It is easy to update, has the features we wanted to include and looks professional.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hugues.”
